The B-side of the single is The Handsome Cabin Boy.

'Hounds Of Love' was released on 7" and 12" single in the UK and Europe. The intro features a quote from a line spoken in the film Night Of The Demon by Maurice Denham. The song is about being afraid to fall in love in the song this feeling is compared to being chased by a pack of hounds.
